Speaker Bio: Felix Flory, Ph.D. is Vice President and Lead Data Scientist for Generative AI at RGA, where he spearheads the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions across the Americas business units. With over two decades of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI—including leadership roles at Databricks and Mastercard—Felix has built and scaled real-time AI systems that support billion-dollar revenue lines and global regulatory compliance. He holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology and Psychometrics from Friedrich Schiller University in Germany, with expertise spanning treatment evaluation, causal inference, statistical modeling, and large-scale generative AI frameworks. Felix is passionate about translating complex data into actionable insights that drive innovation and impact.
Tim Williamson, Data Scientist and Associate Fellow, Bayer
Speaker Bio: Tim leads Product 360 at Bayer Crop Science in St. Louis, where he builds large-scale data and ML platforms that power digital agriculture—from industrial genomics pipelines to modern MLOps and distributed data services. He’s presented publicly on Bayer’s data platform for Crop Science and has been featured in case studies on running massive genomics workloads (including GKE at extreme scale).
